SU - 507 Risk Management

Cross-listed with PM 507 . Explores philosophies, principles, practices, and techniques for managing risk wihin projects, supply chains and organizations with a particular focus on complex or large-scale activities. We will cover the basics of risk management and outline a systematic approach to identifying and managing risk. Special topics include, qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, risk response planning, risk monitoring and control, and risk-sharing, risk pooling, risk hedging, end to end risk management, and disruptions and resilience.

Prerequisite: PM 501 /SU 501  recommended
