BI - 109 Biological Inquiry

Credits: 3

An examination of the individual, social, and environmental influences on biological process. Lecture emphasizes the importance of scientific reasoning and literacy, and lab focuses on scientific inquiry and applications. All students complete and present a research paper project of their own design. Lecture 2 hours, lab 2 hours. Course fee. Not open to students who have taken another Expanded Literacies: Scientific Inquiry course.

General Education: Satisfies Expanded Literacies: Scientific Inquiry.

Co-requisite: Must register for BI-109L
