DA - 350 Creative Process in Dance

Credits: 3

An exploration of the creative process of historic and current dance choreographers. Students will study their own creative processes and create choreographic studies using various prompts. This course will focus on examining the impetus to create art by choreographers in terms of social, political and historical factors, as well as creating choreographic work and completing research projects. Lecture 3 hours.
