NU - 350 Nursing of the Childbearing Family

Credits: 5

Focuses on family development during times of transition and change such as childbearing, viewing health and illness as family-centered experiences. The course applies the nursing process to care of mothers and newborns of diverse backgrounds from pre-conception to postpartum. Lecture 45 hours, clinical 90 hours. Course fee.

Prerequisite(s): NU 220 , NU 230 , NU 335 PS 240 , and junior standing
