Expands on the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with a focus on building cultural awareness related to the Hispanic world. This lecture course is designed for students who have previously studied the language at the elementary level. It is the second of two basic Spanish courses and requires off-classroom activities. Course fee.

Prerequisite(s): SP 101 or SP 130 .Students who have completed two years of Spanish in high school may also take this course-contact the program or department chair to assist with registration.
