Advances the command of the Spanish language for heritage or native speakers on grammar and writing elements that are particularly challenging. This lecture course gives students experience with reading a variety of text types and covers linguistic and social aspects related to life as a Spanish speaker in the United States. This course requires off-classroom activities.
General Education: Satisfies Expanded Literacies: Cultural Awareness.
Prerequisite(s): Must be a heritage or native speaker of Spanish, or permission of the instructor-contact the program or department chair to assist with registration.
