CH - 203 Inorganic and Material Chemistry I

Credits: 3

An introduction to inorganic and materials chemistry including: a foundation of transition metal bonding, electron-counting, and reactions; an introduction to polymer naming, synthesis, and characterization; and main group complex acid/base behavior and crystal lattice configurations. Applications to environmental and biological processes will be explored in each section.  Lecture 3 hours.

Prerequisite(s): CH 101  and CH 102
