Passive and active threats, authentication, encryption, digital signatures, biometrics, firewalls, virus preventions, operating systems principles, and other contemporary issues are discussed. The course covers the basic goals of preserving the integrity of access and data, and preventing unauthorized access to information. Offered only through Adult Studies.
