SP - 131 Basic Medical Spanish IICredits: 3
Provides learners with some basic Spanish education with a general and healthcare-related vocabulary introduction, sound patterns, and basic grammar. This lecture course is the second in a sequence of courses designed specifically for healthcare professionals. In addition, this course emphasizes the development of cultural awareness related to the Hispanic world and requires off-classroom activities. Course fee.

Prerequisite(s): SP 101 or SP 130 . Students who have completed two years of Spanish in high school may also take this course-contact the program or department chair to assist with registration.
