PL - 370 Moral Philosophy

Surveys seminal texts in the Western tradition, including classic works by Plato, Aristotle, Aquinas, Mill, Kant, Nietzsche, and others. The course situates these texts in their historical and cultural contexts, grappling with the underlying metaphysical and anthropological issues at stake in the competing views of the good life they defend.
