Examines elements of French society, culture, and values, including an overview of the French Revolution, which is key to understanding modern France, and other topics such as family, education, labor, healthcare, art, and the European Union. By exploring parallels and distinctions between French and American cultures, learners will gain an understanding of the French culture and its significance.
