Introduces students to one of the critical fields of supply chain management: transportation; focusing on each transportation mode (rail, truck, water, pipeline, air) in detail, through an integrated logistics and global supply chain perspective. Students will learn to understand/manage the planning, execution, and coordination of transportation activities within today’s complex supply chains.
