HI - 335 History of ChinaCredits: 3
A survey course on the history of China. The course covers foundation elements of Chinese civilization but focuses mainly on China’s progress in the 20th century. Students will understand the major historical processes and events - political, military, economic, social, and cultural - that shaped the course of China in its search for modernity.
General Education: Satisfies Lens 3: Policies and Systems. If course designation is HI 335W, it will satisfy one RWI requirement.
