SP - 280 Issues in Contemporary Spanish America

A study of the socio-historical makeup of the Spanish-American world, its traditions and customs, with emphasis on social and political issues of contemporary importance in view of their impact on and role in our global society. Taught in Spanish. May be repeated with a change of subject matter, with permission of the Spanish chair.
