TR - 280 Lighting and Sound Technology

Credits: 3

This course covers the mechanics of lighting and sound for entertainment.  Topics include advanced electrical concepts as applied to stage lighting, LED and moving light fixtures, lighting control systems, networking for lighting control, lighting paperwork, as well as basic sound theory, essential audio equipment, audio signal flow and routing, digital conversion, audio over IP, and show media playback.  Course fee.

Prerequisite(s): TR 144  or permission of instructor
