TR - 311 Expanded Approaches to Acting

Credits: 3

This course supports a vibrant tool kit for encountering texts by applying techniques outside of those introduced in TR 211  and TR 212 . Monologues and scene work from contemporary theatre serve as the bases for applying such techniques. While this course affirms action-based acting, it celebrates and investigates additional pathways to achieving a believable, connected, and effective performance.
