A study of the necessary aeronautical knowledge meeting the prerequisites specified in Title 14 CFR, Part 141, Appendix C for an instrument rating (airplane). Areas covered include: principles of instrument flight; air traffic control systems; Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) planning and flight; instrument FARs; various IFR approaches; procedures departure, enroute, and arrival operations; emergency procedures; analysis of weather information. Course fee.
Prerequisite(s): AM 101 or FAA Ground Exam Completion
