AM - 222 Aircraft Systems

This course offers a comprehensive study of the systems and components found in modern transport-category aircraft. Students will analyze the operation, integration, and management of various systems. Topics include a detailed examination of reciprocating and gas turbine engines, AC/DC electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic power, fuel management systems, environmental controls, ice and rain protection, and the fundamentals of modern “glass cockpit” avionics suites.
