This course provides an in-depth analysis of the human element in aviation and its impact on safety and operational effectiveness. Students will examine the physiological, psychological, and organizational factors that affect human performance. Topics include advanced Aeronautical Decision-Making (ADM) models, Crew/Single-Pilot Resource Management (CRM/SRM), automation management, human physiology, and the design of the human-machine interface.
