AM - 225 Aviation Law

This course provides a detailed examination of the legal framework governing U.S. and international aviation. Students will analyze the specific Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) that form the basis of aviation operations. Topics include the administrative authority of the FAA, the investigative process of the NTSB, airman and aircraft certification, air carrier operations (Part 121/135), FAA enforcement actions, and the principles of aviation tort and contract law.
