CH - 103 Fundamentals of General Chemistry

Credits: 4

CH-103 and CH 104  together are directed to an understanding of the molecular basis of life. Topics in CH-103 include the structure and properties of atoms and molecules, stoichimetry, states of matter and the kinetic-molecular theory, water and solutions, acids and bases, salts, hydrolysis and buffer equilibria, and radionuclide chemistry. Appropriate for interested non-science majors as well as sport and exercise physiology majors. Lecture 3 hours, lab 3 hours. Course fee.
