EE - 111 Infant and Youth Development

Credits: 3

Interactions among physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and language development of children from infancy through adolescence. Influences of family, school, socioeconomic, and cultural contexts on growth and development are explored. The relationship between biology and the environment, the role of developmental theory, and the discrepancies between universal development stages and individual differences will also be discussed. Field work required. Course fee.
