College of Healthcare Professions


The College of Healthcare Professions has the master’s degree program in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS), the master’s degree program in Speech-Language Pathology (MS), the doctoral program in Physical Therapy (DPT), and the undergraduate majors (BS) of health science, medical studies, and communication sciences & disorders (BS & BA). The College of Healthcare Professions also houses the School of Nursing, which contains an undergraduate major in nursing (BSN), a master’s degree in nursing (MSN), and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).

College of Healthcare Professions Mission Statement

The mission of the College of Healthcare Professions is to provide a comprehensive, quality educational experience enabling students to obtain knowledge and skills in nursing, physician assistant, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology in accordance with the philosophy of Christian humanism as developed by Saint Francis de Sales. Graduates are prepared for careers in their respective professions, and are equipped to assume clinical, academic, and leadership positions. Graduates are competent in addressing social determinants of health, are committed to interprofessional collaboration, and the pursuit of lifelong learning.
