Political Science Major and Learning Outcomes

The political science major also provides a track in pre-law. This is available for students who anticipate going to law school. A student selecting this track must complete the following courses. Pre-Law Program

Students who major in the Political Science Pre-Law Track are eligible to earn both an undergraduate degree in Political Science and a Juris Doctor (JD) in the 3+3 Partnership Program with Duquesne University School of Law. Students will spend the first three years at DeSales University completing their general education requirements and required courses for the Pre-Law Track in Political Science. The final three years are spent at Duquesne University School of Law, completing the remaining credits for their bachelor’s degree while taking law school classes.
