M.Ed. Program

Students in the Secondary Education track should apply to the M.Ed. (4+1) Program during their fourth and final year of undergraduate study. Admission requirements for the Graduate M.Ed. Phase are:

1. Satisfactory completion of the following five education courses during the undergraduate phase:

• ED - 109 The Educative Process   
• ED - 209 Cognition and Learning: MOT/Social Science  
• ED - 218 Introduction to Exceptionality  
• ED - 366 Literacy Interventions 4-12  
• ED - 373 Teaching English Learners   

2. Cumulative GPA of 3.0; and
3. Passing score on PRAXIS test.
