Nurse Educator Graduate Certificate

The Nurse Educator Certificate (NEC) was introduced to prepare graduates as academic educators, incorporating two tiers:

1. Concentrated focus on the development of academic capabilities in the design, implementation, and evaluation of teaching and learning in nursing education programs.
2. Development of clinical expertise, a requirement for all nursing faculty in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
