A study of the knowledge, skills, and strategies that enables teachers to facilitate learning for students from various linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Topics include cultural contexts, language use, literacy development and support, patterns of exclusion and inclusion, differentiated learning, curriculum, instruction, and assessment pertaining to diverse learners.
