BI - 210 Plants, Biology and Science: MOT/Natural Science

Credits: 3

The thought and method of a biologist. The lecture component covers topics in plant biology and then examines the scientific method and practical examples of its use. The laboratory component examines methods of obtaining scientific data using plants as the object of study. The course concludes with a mini-research project designed by the student. Lecture 2 hours, lab 2 hours. Course fee.

Prerequisite(s): Not open to students who have taken another MOT/Natural Science course. Must register for BI-210L.
