The Division of Healthcare houses the Department of Nursing and Health, the master’s degree program in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS), the doctoral program in Physical Therapy (DPT), and the undergraduate majors (BS) of sport and exercise physiology, and medical studies. The Department of Nursing and Health contains an undergraduate major in nursing (BSN), a master’s degree in nursing (MSN), and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
Division of Healthcare Mission Statement
The mission of the Division of Healthcare is to provide a quality educational experience enabling students to obtain knowledge and understanding of medicine, sport and exercise physiology, physical therapy, and nursing in accordance with the philosophy of Christian humanism as developed by Saint Francis de Sales. Graduates are prepared for careers in the healthcare and exercise physiology industry.
