SP - 201 Intermediate Spanish & Culture ICredits: 3
Emphasizes the acquisition of new vocabulary and linguistic structures in a cultural and communicative context while building on their previous speaking, reading, listening, and writing skills. This lecture course combines artistic, historical, and societal aspects to broaden students’ understanding of the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world including the Hispanic communities in the U.S. This course requires off-classroom activities. Prerequisite(s): SP 102 or SP 131 . Students who have completed three years of Spanish in high school may also take this course-contact the program or department chair to assist with registration.
