*History Electives - Students will take (5) History electives with at least (4) courses at the 300-level. One of the electives can be HI 391 -History Internship. Additional courses outside of History that are inter-disciplinary, textually dense, and at the 300-level can satisfy this requirement with the academic advisor’s approval. Additional courses to satisfy this requirement may be approved by the academic advisor. Students who take a course that satisfies Lens #1 or Lens #2 as an elective in the major cannot simultaneously have it count towards the general education requirement.
